AI Infrastructure Stocks Slide as Walmart, Lockheed and Lilly Show Strength
AI infrastructure stocks are under heavy pressure today. CoreWeave, Nebius (NBIS), IREN, and Dell are among the session's biggest losers, and several are pushing to new lows. CoreWeave's heavy borrowing to fund its AI expansion has put credit concerns in focus, and that is adding pressure to a group that was already weak.
On the other side of the tape, Walmart, Lockheed Martin, and Eli Lilly are moving higher as traders favor more defensive names. That divergence is the story of the session, and it carries a clear trading lesson.
Neither side of this move should be chased. The weakest names are approaching defined support, and the strongest are approaching defined resistance. The opportunity is in letting price reach those levels rather than reacting to the day's percentage moves.
CoreWeave (CRWV) Stock: Oversold RSI and Key Support Levels
CoreWeave shows the pressure most clearly. It is down nearly 7%, volume is on pace for roughly 77 million shares with two hours left in the session, and the relative strength index (RSI) has just slipped below 30.
An RSI reading under 30 often gets treated as an automatic buy. It isn't. When momentum breaks into oversold territory on heavy volume, it can stay there for weeks rather than snapping back right away. Oversold describes the move. It does not mark the bottom.
Structure matters more than the indicator. CoreWeave is currently sitting on the pivot top from April 2, 2025, a level that produced a clean bounce before and was quickly reclaimed the last time it broke. Buyers are defending it today. If it gives way, the next support is a horizontal pivot near $57.65 with several touches, followed by a descending trendline that could bring price toward $55 to $53, depending on when the test comes.
NBIS, IREN and Dell Stock: Key Support Levels to Watch
The same approach applies across the group: find where buyers have stepped in before, and let price come to those levels.
Nebius (NBIS) is down about 11% and has just filled a gap. An aggressive long level sits near $179.40, where prior pivots line up with a rising trendline from the $73.52 low that hasn't been tested since late July. Price has broken through both before, so the preferred zone is lower. Between $164 and $160, the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement near $160 lines up with prior price action, which makes that the cheaper area for a long.
IREN is down about 12% and trading roughly 60 cents above the $30 round number, which also lines up with a prior candle high that price pierced and then recovered the next day. If $30 fails, a trendline from June 14, 2024 comes in around $29.25 to $29.40. Together they form a tight zone, about 5% wide, where risk on a long can be clearly defined.
Dell is testing an ascending support trendline from the May 19, 2026 low. An earlier break below that line was followed by a recovery, which reinforces its importance. Today's close will show whether buyers defend it. The $514 pivot is the other key reference: a sustained move below it leaves that level as major resistance on any rebound. Below that, the $469.47 shelf, an area of prior consolidation, is where a bounce becomes more likely, and a large unfilled gap beneath it offers a further level for a day or swing long.
Walmart (WMT), Lockheed Martin (LMT) and Eli Lilly (LLY) Stock Resistance Levels
The defensive names are working, but each one is moving toward levels where a fade becomes reasonable.
Walmart is up about 2.8% after breaking above trendlines from May 19, 2025 and bouncing off them as support. Near-term support has formed around $111 to $112, and the trend is constructive. Overhead, pivots at $116 to $116.90 and the $117.45 level have rejected price several times. The higher-conviction setup is the unfilled gap near $119, where a trendline converges. A sharp move into that zone would offer a multi-factor short.
Lockheed Martin is up about 3% after breaking a steep downtrend line that had rejected price repeatedly, retesting it, and confirming the breakout. The first resistance is $538.81, where the last attempt to reclaim that level left a series of wicks. Above that, an ascending trendline from December 2, 2025, which has flipped between support and resistance, comes in near $565 to $570.
Eli Lilly is up about 4% and heading toward a rising trendline from the April 30, 2026 low, near $1,243 to $1,244. Combined with the pivot top at $1,249.45, that zone sets up a two-factor short for day or swing traders. A clean break through it would open a test of the double top near $1,292.65. On the downside, price should hold above $1,133.95, where buyers have already stepped in.

AI Stock Selloff: What Traders Should Watch
The next test is whether CoreWeave and Dell can defend their current support or whether the selling pushes them toward the lower zones on the chart. On the other side, Walmart, Lockheed Martin, and Eli Lilly are approaching resistance that could offer opportunities for traders watching for a fade.
On a day like this, it's tempting to buy the biggest losers or chase the strongest stocks. The disciplined approach is to do neither until price reaches a level worth trading. Oversold can stay oversold, and strength can keep running. The levels are already on the charts. What comes next is seeing how price reacts when it reaches them.
