U-6 Unemployment Report
The U-6 Unemployment report shows how many people are under-employed. Meaning they were cut from full-time to part-time or someone could only find a part-time job when they were looking for full-time work.
This is the most concerning data recently, as the U-6 has spiked north of 7%. Take note that prior to every recession, this has popped higher while the Unemployment Report (normal one the media talks about) has been low. In other words, this is a leading indicator for recessions.
