When analyzing monetary policy, GDP and other economic stats, it is important to compare apples to apples. This table shows the comparable information for many of the top countries in the world, from real GDP to real GDP year over year and quarter over quarter. In addition, note the inflation rates, unemployment rates and populations.

Interest rate wise, the United States has the highest level at 5.50% with the UK a close second. For GDP, China leads the pack with real GDP year over year of 5.3%.

Inflation shows Spain with the highest and the United States with the second highest and unemployment is the worst in Spain as well at 11.70% with France a distant second at 7.30%.The lowest unemployment rate is in Japan at 2.70.
